THE OURIKA VALLEY

Close to Marrakesh, the Ourika valley stretches about thirty miles winding through the foothills of the High Atlas where traditional houses, are rooted in the earth and mingle with the clay slopes. The road plunges along the Oued Ourika where water is abundant all year round.
With their vegetable crops and orchards, long meadows shaded invite you to a relaxing moment. The road ends in the village of Setti Fatma, 1500 m altitude. It gathers in the pit village of the towering slopes of the Atlas
